Information you give us
When you complete our enquiry form we ask for your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, the service you are interested in, and a short description of your situation. We use this only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if you engage us, to deliver the services agreed.
If you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp, we keep a record of that correspondence for the same purposes.
Please do not send financial records, tax documents or identification through the website form. Once engaged, we will agree a secure method for exchanging those documents.
Information collected automatically
As with most websites, our host records standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed and the referring page. This is used for security and to keep the site working correctly.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors find and use the site. It sets cookies recording pages viewed, approximate location at city or country level, and how you arrived. This is statistical and is not used to identify individuals.
Advertising and the Meta Pixel
This site runs the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, operator of Facebook and Instagram. It records that you visited the site and which pages you viewed, allowing us to measure advertising and show relevant ads to previous visitors. It sets cookies and shares data with Meta, who act as a separate data controller under their own terms. You can manage this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, or through your browser cookie controls.
Performance and caching
We use LiteSpeed Cache to make pages load faster. It may store non-identifying technical data in your browser.
Our legal basis for using your data
We rely on your consent when you submit the enquiry form or accept cookies; on the performance of a contract when we deliver services to you; on legal obligation where tax and accounting law requires records to be kept; and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
We share data only with providers who help us run the business: our website host, our email provider, Google for analytics and Meta for advertising. Where the law requires it, for example a lawful request from the Federal Board of Revenue, the SECP or a court, we may be obliged to disclose information.
Some of these providers operate outside Pakistan, so your data may be processed in other countries, including the United States and the European Union.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as we act for you, and afterwards for the period required by Pakistani tax and corporate law, generally six years. Analytics data follows Google’s standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. Email info@truebalanceassociates.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Ours fall into three groups: those necessary for the site to function, those used for analytics, and those used for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and access to submitted enquiries is restricted to our team. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide.
Children
Our services are provided to businesses. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and revise the date shown at the top.
